Pellows Travel is a travel service operated by Cambiar Tech. You reach it on WhatsApp. It helps you find and book stays and travel services, and helps hosts list their places. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Travelers: your WhatsApp phone number and profile name, the messages you send us, your trip details (city, dates, guests, budget), and the bookings and requests you make.
• Waitlist: if you join our list, your name, WhatsApp number, where and roughly when you are travelling, what you said you need, where you heard about us (for example, the event whose QR code you scanned), and when you agreed to hear from us on WhatsApp.
• Hosts: the details in your application: name, phone, email, emergency contact, property address and description, photos, prices and policies, links to your listings, and calendar export links.
• Operational records: message delivery status, booking and payment status, and an audit trail of actions taken by our team.

We do not collect card details in chat.

How we use it

• To understand your requests, show you options, and book what you approve.
• If you joined the waitlist, to message you on WhatsApp when your invitation is ready. Ask us to stop at any time.
• To pass the details a host needs to confirm and prepare for your stay.
• To verify hosts and listings, prevent fraud and keep guests and hosts safe.
• To support you before, during and after your trip, and to improve Pellows.

Automated understanding

Your messages may be processed by an AI model (currently Google Gemini) to understand what you are asking for. The model never sets prices, confirms bookings, or takes payment; those are handled by our systems and team.

Who we share it with

• Hosts and service providers you book with, limited to what they need for your booking.
• Service providers that run Pellows for us: Meta (WhatsApp messaging), Fly.io (hosting, United Kingdom), Neon (database, United Kingdom), and Google (Gemini, message understanding).
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep conversation and trip data for as long as it is useful for your bookings and support, and booking and financial records for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see data deletion).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@cambiartech.co. If you are in the UK or EU you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Pellows is not for people under 18.
